Rear Extension – Hillside Crescent, Watford

This elegant rear extension, completed at a semi-detached property in Hillside Crescent, Watford, demonstrates our commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and timeless design.

Our client’s vision was to expand and modernise the ground floor while staying true to the home's traditional character. The extension added a spacious new kitchen, a light-filled living area, and a contemporary bathroom — all designed to enhance both comfort and everyday functionality.

To bring in natural light and create a strong indoor-outdoor connection, we installed large-format bi-fold doors opening out to the garden, complemented by a secondary set of sliding doors to provide additional light and flexibility.

Structurally, the project involved the installation of several steel beams to achieve the desired open-plan layout. 

The finished space feels refined, practical, and beautifully in tune with the original architecture — a result of thoughtful planning, skilled execution, and attention to detail at every stage.
